Central Valley Entrepreneurship Academy

A collaboration between the UC Merced Venture Lab, and UC Davis Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Central Valley Entrepreneurship Academy is the premier academic program for commercializing innovations in science, engineering, social science and humanities.The academy is open to everyone in the community, aspiring entrepreneurs, and undergrads, graduate students (master’s and doctoral), postdocs and faculty from all academic fields.

The Woman Entrepreneur Conference (2nd Annual)

First Fridays Legal Assistance 

Starting a business always involves risk. But many risks can be avoided or managed when new entrepreneurs have access to legal help. UC Berkeley Law School’s New Business Practicum (NBP) provides low-income entrepreneurs with limited legal services by answering questions, providing template forms and providing guidance for common legal issues.

UC Berkeley New Business Practicum 

The New Business Practicum (NBP) is Berkeley Law’s interdisciplinary transactional law clinical in which law and business students have assisted startup entrepreneurs since 2007. NBP provides free legal help for startups and real experience for law students looking to practice transactional law. Since its inception, NBP has provided individual legal assistance to over 200 startups and trained and consulted with over 300.

Consultations are held online or over the phone every other Tuesday.
