2019 1-Day Central Valley Entrepreneurship Academy

A collaboration between the UC Davis Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the UC Merced Venture Lab, the 2019 1-Day Central Valley Entrepreneurship Academy is the premier program for commercializing innovations in Central Valley.
The academy is open to everyone in the community, aspiring entrepreneurs, and undergrads, graduate students (master’s and doctoral), postdocs and faculty from all academic fields.
This full-day academy is designed to help support local entrepreneurs to grow their business and help connect them with resources across the Central Valley. This program will be taught by local entrepreneurs and leaders in the community who will serve as guest speakers and mentors. Key topics include: how to manage successful teams, seek and secure funding, develop marketing strategies to help grow your business.
There is no charge to attend the 2019 1-Day Central Valley Entrepreneurship Academy. Coffee/tea, and lunch is included. Participants are responsible for their lodging, transportation and parking fees.
The workshop will take place Thursday, May 9th, 2019 at the Modesto Centre Plaza in the Gingko Room.

The academy is free and open to community members, local business owners, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
We will be closing the academy with a networking mixer from 5:45 - 7:30 p.m at the Modesto Centre Plaza.
This mixer is free and open to the public.
